This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the Application, developed and operated on behalf of Leading Jewelers Guild. By registering an account, logging into, or using the Application, you explicitly agree to comply with this Agreement, including our strict policies regarding User-Generated Content (UGC). If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
0Acceptance, Eligibility & License
Acceptance
Your use of the Application constitutes acceptance of this Agreement. We may update it from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, and material changes may require you to re-accept.
Eligibility
The Application is a private, membership-based community for approved retailers, vendors, and Leading Jewelers Guild staff. You must be at least 18 years old and an authorized member to use it.
License grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for its intended community and business purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or use the Application for any unlawful purpose.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
1User-Generated Content (UGC) Restrictions
The Application provides an interactive community platform that allows users to post, share, and view content (including text, images, videos, and comments). You are entirely responsible for the content you create.
You strictly agree NOT to post, upload, publish, or transmit any content that:
- Is defamatory, abusive, harassing, bullying, threatening, or stalking.
- Contains hate speech, discrimination, or degrades individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- Depicts graphic violence, gore, or illegal acts.
- Contains explicit sexual content, nudity, or pornography.
- Promotes illegal substances, dangerous activities, or unlawful behavior.
- Infringes upon intellectual property, copyright, or privacy rights of others.
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misrepresents goods, pricing, or business relationships within the Guild community.
- Constitutes spam, unsolicited advertising, or bulk solicitation.
Your license to us
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the Application solely for the purpose of operating the community. You represent that you have the rights necessary to post any content you submit.
2Zero-Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content and Abusive Behavior
Leading Jewelers Guild maintains a zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content and abusive behavior.
- Action within 24 hours. Any content identified or reported as violating these terms will be reviewed and acted upon by our moderation team within 24 hours — including removing the offending content and, where warranted, ejecting the user responsible.
- Immediate removal. Content found to violate these terms is removed promptly upon review.
- Account termination. Any user found to be engaging in abusive behavior, harassment, or repeatedly publishing objectionable content will face immediate termination of their account and a permanent ban from accessing the Application, without prior warning.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on this platform.
3User Safety, Reporting, and Blocking Tools
To maintain a safe community environment, the Application provides built-in mechanisms directly within the interface for handling problematic content and behavior:
- Flagging / Reporting Content. Users can instantly flag or report any specific user-generated content that violates these terms by clicking the reporting options available on the post.
- Reporting Members. Users can report individual member profiles for review.
- Blocking Users. Users have the right to block any other user at any time. Activating a block will instantly filter and remove the blocked user’s content entirely from the blocking user’s feed, profile, and interactive elements. It will also notify our moderation team for investigation.
4Moderation and Enforcement
We reserve the right, but assume no obligation, to actively monitor all UGC. Our moderation systems automatically hide heavily reported content instantly from public view pending admin review. We reserve the ultimate right to determine what constitutes a violation of community standards and to take appropriate disciplinary action.
5Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
As-is
The Application is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
User content disclaimer
Content posted by users does not reflect our views. We are not responsible or liable for any user-generated content or for interactions between users.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Application or any user content.
6Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of this Agreement. Upon termination, your license to use the Application ends immediately.
